Austin Simmons sparks Ole Miss with go-ahead TD in 30-23 win at Kentucky
Austin Simmons scored his first career rushing TD to restore Ole Miss’ lead and guide a 30-23 road win over Kentucky in his first SEC start. The redshirt sophomore threw for 235 yards, ran for 44, and played through a late leg scare. A late Kewan Lacy burst set up a key field goal as Ole Miss opened SEC play 1-0 and moved to 2-0 in Simmons’ starts.
